I have to unload a 40,000 pound truck of food daily. So I was interested in this model for the 4th wheel feature to help balance the heavy load. Is there a way I can add brakes to this model ?

Hello, it depends if you are using the hand truck with or without C5 Stair Climbers, which we recommend if you will be navigating stairs often. With C5 stair climbers, the hand truck rests on the C5s, not the tires, when in use on stairs.

Further it will take you 2 hours to install… that is if ure an expert and have tools in hand….

Hello, if you need to remove the axle, the two cotter pins may be removed, followed by the wheel, washers and roll pins.

By 1/4"-20, that refers to the diameter of the bolt shaft (1/4") and threads per inch (20). By 5/16"-18, the bolt shaft diameter is 5/16" and there are 18 threads per inch.

Unfortunately, you cannot use it with a van or walk ramp on a truck. You can use it with a ramp within a warehouse or distribution center.
